WHAT YOU VISIT
Cleland Wildlife Park
Situated in the rolling hills of Adelaide's Mount Lofty Ranges on 86 acres of bushland, the park is home to over 130 species of Australian wildlife. Get close up to the koalas, see lakes for the waterfowl, and walk through aviaries and enclosures for dingos, Tasmanian devils, goanna, small mammals, and reptiles. The park is a member of the South Australian Tourism Hall of Fame after winning the 'Significant Tourism Attraction' category at the 2007, 2008 and 2009 South Australian Tourism Awards.
PHOTO OPPORTUNITY
During the mid-afternoon it may be possible to have your photo taken with Australia's best-loved animal--the koala (at your own expense).
WHAT YOU SEE ALONG THE WAY
En route to Cleland Wildlife Park, you'll take a scenic drive into the Adelaide Hills via the Cleland Conservation Park route.
