Voted one of the most world's spectacular roads by National Geographic, the Atlantic Road is approximately five miles of twists and turns that could rival a roller coaster. The road connects several small islands and skerries via viaducts, causeways, and eight bridges that boast amazing views of the Norwegian Sea. Your all-day adventure begins with a panoramic drive along the Isfjorden to afarnes, where you'll take a short ferry ride to the village of SOlsnes and board a coach. Gaze out the motorcoach window at the breathtaking scenery as you ride over pretty bridges and through an underwater tunnel before meeting up with the Atlantic Road, recognized as an official 'Cultural Heritage Site.' A photo stop will be made along the way and lunch in Bud completes your day. You'll then head back to Sølsnes, board the ferry and travel by coach back to andalsnes.
