History unfolds as you travel from East to West Berlin. Your tour begins as you board a chartered train for an approximately 2 ½ -hour ride to Berlin. Upon arriving, you'll board your motorcoach for a city drive, stopping to take photos at such sights as one of the few surviving pieces of the Berlin Wall, passing by Checkpoint Charlie, the point separating east and west. You'll also stop at the Bebelplatz, the square where the burgeoning Nazi Party held its infamous book burning. Next is a pass-by of the WWII Memorial. You'll continue to the Brandenburg Gate and Reichstag, and make your way to West Berlin. Shopping at Kurfurstendamm, Germany's most famous shopping boulevard, and a luncheon round out this day-long tour.
