Spend the day in the exciting city of Dublin taking in the sights, indulging in a tasty lunch and enjoying an entertaining musical show. Among the highlights of your panoramic drive is Trinity College; founded in 1592 by Queen Elizabeth I, it's Ireland's oldest university. Next, you'll see many examples of grand Georgian buildings as you travel along Merrion Square. Then, you'll travel past St. Stephen's Green, the 150-year-old National Gallery, and the 810-year-old Dublin Castle. Fine examples of Dublin's medieval heritage are Christ Church Cathedral and St. Patrick's Cathedral. Famed O'Connell Street is home to the General Post Office, the command post of the 1916 Easter Rising. Later, enjoy Dublin on your own before rejoining your guide and heading to the Old Storehouse pub for lunch, followed by live music and Irish dancing.
