Set off on a full-day adventure that takes you to the picturesque seaside village of Malahide. Your tour begins with a drive along the rugged coastline of South County Dublin, traveling over the Liffey River. You'll then head north for picturesque vistas of Dublin Bay before arriving at Malahide Castle. The castle, founded in the 12th century by Norman baron Lord Talbot de Malahide, sits on a 268-acre site and features circular towers, a Gothic entrance porch, exquisite Irish period furniture and a brand new interactive exhibition area telling the story of the Talbot family. Continue on through the suburban village of Portmarnock, home of the world-famous Portmarnock Golf Club, en route to Howth, a fishing and yachting port and popular suburban resort on the north side of Howth Head. Stop at the 11th-century Abbey Tavern to enjoy a traditional Irish lunch accompanied by lively Irish entertainment. Settle into your scenic return drive to port.

Special Notes:

Minimum age to consume alcohol is 18 years. Lunch room may not be accessible to wheelchairs due to its location up a flight of stairs.
