Geirangerfjord is often hailed as the 'most beautiful fjord in the world.' This half-day tour takes you on a kayaking adventure of this natural wonder. For nearly 2.5 hours, you'll glide along next to the steep mountain walls, some as high as 4,500 feet, past Geirangerfjord's landmarks. On your path, you'll also witness farms perched on rocky ledges, and hear of the history of Geiranger and its people.
Special Notes:
Dress appropriately in warm layered clothing, a hat, and a waterproof jacket. Two-man kayaks are utilized; all the necessary instruction will be provided. Passengers should be in good physical condition and must not suffer from any back problems. All participants must be able to swim.The time spent kayaking is approximately 2 to 2.5 hours.
Well-trained guides will instruct you on the elementary techniques of kayaking.
