A photo stop here affords the opportunity to see the impressive views of the Askerö Fjord. Once over the bridge and into Tjörn, you'll be enchanted by the island's charming red clapboard farmhouses, sweeping meadows studded with granite boulders, and shimmering lakes. On the southern tip of Tjörn sits the 15th century fishing village of Klädesholmen, home to modern herring canning factories. Enjoy a guided walk through this charming hamlet before rejoining the coach and driving on to the main town of Skärhamn for free time and a sampling of herring, the local delicacy.
