Be sure to read the Special Notes further down this page for important requirements and restriction.
Venture off the beaten path for a glimpse into the unhurried life in the Finnish Archipelago. When you board the boat, you'll take a relaxing ride along the old steamboat route cruising past picturesque summer homes and villas en route to Pentala Island, just one of the 80,000 islands nestled in the archipelago. Soon you'll arrive at the Pentala Archipelago Museum set on the banks of Espoonlahti Bay. Once the home of the Nyholms, today, this 19th century estate offers a window into traditional island life. Follow your guide on a stroll through a number of outbuildings, some dating back to the early 19th century. Hear stories of the farmers and fishermen in the archipelago since its settlement in the 1750s. After working up an appetite, enjoy lunch aboard the boat as you return to Helsinki and a chance to shop at the open-air market.
