Welcome to the "Daughter of the Baltic." This narrated tour brings you to many of the city's highlights. You'll travel first into the city and to Senate Square, the center for arts, culture, religion, politics and education. Famed architect Carl Ludvig Engel designed its four main buildings in the early 19th Century. From here, you'll stop for photos at the unique Sibelius Monument, dedicated to famed Finnish composer Jean Sibelius. Re-boarding your motorcoach, you head to Porvoo, Finland's second oldest city, founded in 1346. After a tour and some free time, it's back to Helsinki to see the popular Temppeliaukio Church, or the Church in the Rock, built inside of a massive block of natural granite. Your last stop brings you to the bustling Market Square and its rows of tents and stalls selling fur clothing, jewelry, food and souvenirs and more.
