Explore hidden overlooks off the beaten path, walk across new lava formations and actually see the rebirth of the native Hawaiian rainforest in its first stages of life. Embrace this natural wonder named a World Heritage Site UNESCO in 1982. Then get ready to visit Hawaii Island's only winery, Volcano Winery. Nestled on the slopes of Kilauea volcano, you will have the opportunity to enjoy an exclusive wine event that provides you with a glass of Volcano Winery's signature wines.We'll also make a sweet stop at Big Island Candies where they make artisanal chocolates and macadamia-nut cookies. There will be time for shopping before heading back to the ship.

Special Notes:

Minimum age is 10 years. Passengers must be 21 with valid ID to sample alcoholic beverages and an adult must accompany all children less than 18 years of age. Naturally occurring sulfur gases are present. Not recommended for guests with respiratory conditions or limited mobility. Tour itinerary may change due to severe weather or volcanic activity. Some sites visited are approximately 4,000 feet above sea level. This excursion involves extensive walking over paths and uneven terrain. Walking on the lava formations is optional. Wear comfortable clothing in layers, a light jacket and covered shoes.
