The peaceful glow of an Alaska summer night is the perfect backdrop for this exceptional whale-watching adventure complete with a buffet featuring locally sourced cuisine. Southeast Alaska's marine animals join the party as you cruise the waters, renowned as a summer feeding ground for humpback and killer whales. Following a short motorcoach ride to beautiful Auke Bay, board a water jet-powered expedition vessel specially designed for Alaskan waters and wildlife viewing. As you cruise, an onboard naturalist will explain the habits and habitats of the wildlife you may encounter. Enjoy a buffet dinner complete with dessert and beverage. When a whale is spotted your captain will maneuver the boat for optimal viewing and photo opportunities.

The content of this tour is identical to JNU-620. Only guests using a wheelchair can book this tour, as it ensures accessible transportation. Due to the specialized nature of some lift-equipped vehicles, priority is given to guests using a wheelchair and one companion only; additional companions may be required to travel on the transportation provided for tour JNU-620. Bookings not marked with an accessibility requirement will be removed from the tour's inventory.This tour can accommodate mobility devices with minimum ground clearance of 3.5 inches. The lift on the vehicle can accommodate a maximum weight of 600 lbs., maximum length of 48 inches and maximum width of 32 inches. Passengers with disabilities must contact the onboard Tour Office at least 48 hours prior to the excursion to ensure arrangements can be made to meet their particular needs. The operator of this tour guarantees that a whale will be sighted on this excursion in June, July and August, with participants receiving a $100 cash refund from the tour operator if a whale is not sighted. To follow best practices in responsible and sustainable tourism, in all other months, no guarantee is offered; however, the tour operator's whale-sighting success rate remains at 99%.
Due to timing in port, this tour may not be available on all sailings. Hot food items will be served the first 1.5 hours of the cruise. Cold food items and desserts will be available throughout the duration or as supplies last.
Meal: Items subject to change based on seasonal availability but may include white fish Olympia, reindeer sausage cassoulet, meats and cheese trays and locally grown vegetables. A dessert bar features Alaska wild berry brownies, Alaska barley chocolate chip cookies and s'mores. Complimentary coffee, tea, cocoa. Beer, wine and soda available for additional charge.
Unaccompanied Minor Policy: Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
