Your adventure begins the moment you leave the Juneau waterfront on a 40-minute floatplane journey you will never forget. Flying through the Juneau Valley, you will soar over cascading waterfalls and lush rainforest, en route to the awe-inspiring glaciers of the Juneau Icefield. Gaze in wonder at the deep blue hue of the receding and advancing glaciers that make up the 1,500 square miles of solid ice. This once-in-a-lifetime flight will take you over the deep crevasses and azure meltwater pools of the Norris, Taku, Hole-in-the-Wall, East and West Twin glaciers. Everyone will enjoy a window seat on this exciting narrated flight, so bring your camera to capture all the magical memories. And keep a lookout for possible wildlife such as goats and eagles, before concluding this magnificent excursion with a smooth water landing.
Special Notes:
This flight has no weight surcharge but the maximum weight is 300 lbs. Children under the age of 2 may travel as a lap child at no cost. Aircraft fly no higher than 6,000 feet. Oxygen for personal use is allowed but must be in the form of an FAA approved portable oxygen concentrator that can be secured to the user's body. Carry-on bags are limited.Flightseeing excursions are not refundable unless cancelled by 12:00pm on the day after embarkation.
Unaccompanied Minor Policy: Children under the age of 18 must accompanied by a parent or guardian.
