This combination tour offers you the adventure of a lifetime. Your exciting journey begins with a ride to the heliport. Donning a pair of glacier overboots, you'll board a helicopter for your flight over the Alaskan ice field. During your breathtaking flight, you'll get to see some of nature's most beautiful landscapes in areas that are accessible only by air. You'll marvel at the spectacular icefalls and rock formations of the region. After your fifteen-minute flight, you'll set down on picturesque Norris Glacier and meet top Iditarod race veteran mushers and their dogs to learn their tricks of the trade. Then, you'll get to experience the unique thrill of zipping across a glacier behind a team of sled dogs. After your exhilarating sled experience, you'll re-board your helicopter and once again sail over the elegant ribbons of ice as you return to the heliport.
