Bring your camera and a warm jacket and set off on a scenic drive to Auke Bay. Board your whale-watching vessel complete with a heated cabin, and head out to explore the Inside Passage in search of incredible humpback whales as well as harbor seals, Steller sea lions and Dall's porpoise. So plentiful are these nutrient-rich waters that a whale sighting is guaranteed during peak season. Your destination is lush Sentinel Island and its iconic lighthouse. A relaxed walk with views of Lynn Canal brings you to the heritage structure, constructed in 1902. Climb up the tower for awesome vistas and inspect the beacon before stopping at the nautical gift shop. Return to the boat, and cruise to Yankee Cove, where you'll meet the motorcoach for a narrated drive to Brotherhood Bridge to photograph spectacular Mendenhall Glacier. Return to the ship at the conclusion of this unforgettable adventure.
