Soar over the rugged beauty of the Juneau Icefield, cascading mountains, pristine glaciers and the Taku River basin on an exhilarating flightseeing tour. Your approximately 3.5-hour tour begins with a ride to the airport where you'll board your comfortable aircraft. Then, feel the rush of excitement as your helicopter lifts off on a 15-minute sky-flying adventure over the Tongass National Forest. At over 16 million acres, it's renowned as the largest national forest in the United States and home to nearly 24 national monuments, preserves and wilderness areas, and the awe-inspiring Juneau Icefield. Then, you'll descend to Taku Point and transfer to an airboat for an up close look at the mighty Taku Glacier. At the conclusion of this memorable tour, you'll reboard your helicopter to fly to the top of the glacier to land and step out onto this amazing mass of ice. Take photos and learn about this natural wonder before the return flight to the airport, where you'll rejoin the shuttle back to your ship.
