Your tour begins as you board your motorcoach for a short drive to Riddarholmen, a small islet in central Stockholm that houses a number of private palaces dating back to the 17th century.

View the exterior of Riddarholmen Church, a 13th-century monastery built by Franciscan monks and the final resting place of most Swedish kings. Adjacent to the church is the Old Parliament Building, the starting point for your rooftop adventure.

You'll ride the elevator to the attic and step out into the open. After a safety orientation, you'll don your helmet and safety harness, and navigate the narrow, iron-railed path of the rooftop as your guide narrates stories of Stockholm and points out the views.

From atop the Old Parliament Building, you'll witness Stockholm from above and such sites as the stately 608-room Royal Palace on the waterfront.

Next, you'll embark on a narrated walking tour, strolling the narrow, cobbled streets, witnessing buildings from the 16th to 19th centuries, as well as art studios, chic boutiques, restaurants and shops.

Your tour concludes with a scenic drive back to the pier.

Special Notes:

Participants must be 15 years or older. Guest with cardiovascular problems, fear of heights or the tendency to faint should not participate. Athletic shoes or walking shoes are recommended. A helmet and a safety harness connected to a wire system during the rooftop walk will be provided. Maximum weight allowance is 265 pounds. Guests may not be under the influence of alcohol.

Guests should not have had a knee operation or hip replacement the last 4 months.
Guests need to be able to walk steady without holding onto a handrail.
